GREENTRAC Earns“Recommended” Rating in German ADAC 2026 Summer Tire Test

March 04, 2026

Recently, the automotive industrys recognized top-tierbenchmark test the German ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) officially released the 2026 summer tire test results. As Europes most authoritative and credible automobile organization, ADAC tests are renowned for their absolute neutrality and extreme rigor. Test tires are never supplied by manufacturers; instead, they are anonymously and randomly purchased by testers from retail stores across Germany and Europe, ensuring genuine and fair results. These outcomes directly influence tens of millions of driverstire purchasing decisions and hold extremely high industry guidance value.

ADAC Official Recognition: GREENTRAC Achieves Joint First in Hydroplaning lateral and Noise

In this year’s test, jointly conducted by ADAC, ÖAMTC (Austria), and TCS (Switzerland), 16 tire models in size 225/50R17 were evaluated. Among them, GREENTRAC’s flagship product, Quest-X, delivered a strong overall performance. With an overall score of 3.1, it successfully earned the “Empfehlung” rating. Even more impressively, it ranked joint first in the key sub-categories of “ Wet Handling Stability (weighted score 2.05)” and “Noise Performance (weighted score 2.1),” showcasing the brand’s technical depth and product competitiveness, and declaring to the world the strength of this global emerging tire brand.

The 2026 summer tire test comprehensively evaluated 16 tire models, including leading international brands such as Continental, Michelin, and Goodyear. The scoring system uses a dual-dimension weighting: driving safety accounts for 70% (dry road 40%, wet road 60%, covering braking distance, handling, Lateral aquaplaning, and other core safety indicators), while environmental balance accounts for 30% (Predicted mileage, Reifenabrieb,Fuel consumption (at 100km/h), noise, weight, and sustainability).

Outstanding Sub-Category Results Demonstrate Strong International Competitiveness

In the detailed sub-categories of this test, GREENTRAC Quest-X exhibited textbook-level technical performance and claimed top honors in multiple key areas, successfully securing a position among the ten tires receiving a “Recommended” rating and ranking as the highest-performing Chinese brand in this year’s evaluation.

1. Sub-Category Champion: Top Performance in Handling and Noise

Noise Performance Champion:Pass-by noise according to ISO: 70.2 dB(A), joint first overall; Interior  noise rating: 1.5, joint first.

In the ADAC test, noise is an important sub-item under the 30% environmental balance weighting, and it is the comfort indicator most easily perceived by consumers in everyday driving. Quest-X achieves the lowest external noise level and top-tier internal noise performance, demonstrating industry-leading development capability in improving ride comfort — even topping the competition against numerous traditional well-known tire brands.

Wet Handling Stability Champion:Hydroplaning lateral 3.7 m/s², joint first overall (tied with Continental PremiumContact 7).

This test simulates high-speed lane changes or cornering on wet, water-covered roads, evaluating the tire’s ability to maintain grip and avoid “floating” under lateral forces. Quest-X’s highest lateral acceleration of 3.7 m/s² (joint first) means it delivers exceptional drainage and wet handling on wet roads during high-speed maneuvers or standing water, effectively preventing sideslip or loss of control.

2. Multiple Data Highlights: Balanced Dry/Wet Performance and Fuel consumption Other core data for Quest-X are equally impressive:

● Dry braking distance: 36.2 m, rated “Stärke” (strength) by ADAC

● Fuel consumption: 5.7 L/100 km, among the lowest in the test group

● EU tire label: C/A/B 70 dB, official excellent wet certification (wet grip rated A)

● Predicted mileage: 38,200 km, a strong showing among the tested tires

3. A High-Value Model Worthy of Global Drivers’ Trust

ADAC purchased the Quest-X in the retail market at 96 euros (225/50 R17).This price makes it the most competitive value proposition among all tires in this test that received a “Recommended” rating and the “conditional recommendation” (bedingte Kaufempfehlung). It is a more rational choice, offering superior performance in safety reserves and ride comfort at a highly competitive price, providing consumers with a better tire option.
